Finally surfing again. Jeroen went winging, so we went to the Botenhelling together. Sailed with the E-Type 6.6 on F-Cross 113 with Select Edge 35cm. Less wind near the shore, more further out, I was planing easily. Behind the island less wind. beyond the island it was better again. Making long runs all the time. Behind the island a bit of downwind to stay planing. Wind a bit minimal for planing gybes. Nice to have sailed again. The 6.6 was a good choice! [Read...]

Finally good wind again, NNE, but that can be very nice on Brouwersdam South. Sailed with the Banzai 5.3 on the Goya One 95 with different fins. Sailed longer than I expected. The 5.3 was the right size all afternoon. The sun was nice, the wind was a bit chilly. First time this year sailed without a winter suit. [Read...]

Wind was predicted SSW, never the best waves, but can be fun. Sun, no rain. Sailed with the Banzai 4.7 on the Goya One 95 with 20/10cm thrusters. Was a lot of fun for a while. Especially sometimes nice multiple hit back-side waveriding. Unfortunately, the wind dropped completely at the end. Temperature was quite good, even sailed without a cap for a while. [Read...]

After months too cold, no wind or Carnival. Today finally SW wind again and warm enough. Sailed the Banzai 4.7 on the One 95. Low tide, so relatively flat. Only a bit of jumping and a bit of back-side wave riding. Jibing on the outside was often a planning jibe. Timing was very good. After rigging it stayed dry and the wind was good all the time.
