2nd weekend of the year, 2nd time surfing, year starts well. Wind WSW NNE, so Kabbelaarsbank. Started with the iSonic 117 with Daytona 7.3 and Z-Fins 42cm. Later switched to the JP FSW 102 with Duke 5.9 and MFC 29cm. Almost sailed into a seal. Was a fun day full out slalom, and some freeride. The seal and I have been very lucky. [Read...]

We had a new years drink with friends at Kabbelaarsbank, I had taken the windsurf gear. Used: iSonic 127 with Warp 8.0, Wind was not very strong, so outhaul completely loose. With 7 degrees It was cold, but the sun made it nice. Didn't have to wear the cap and gloves all the time. Nice start of a new season. [Read...]
