Good weather predicted wind force 4 to 5, and a day off from work: surfing. Wind further south than predicted, and so nearly South, and so gusty. iSonic 117 with Daytona 7.3 and SLP-42 cm, later wind picked up, switched fin for the SLP 40cm. I had hoped for a nice day cruising for the first time surfing again. Today just bit more wind then desired. Took the 5.3 ice with the JP FSW 102. First time on the FSW 102, within a few meters already a chop-hop, first jibe: planing. Nice to be back on the board. Not ready for competition yet, but certainly with this kind of weather really enjoyable. [Read...]
